On May 18, 1917, a German engineer association (VDI) royal manufacturing bureau held a meeting in Berlin, decided to set up general machinery manufacturing standards committee, its task is to develop VDI rules. In the same year in July, the standard set by the commission proposed to each industry association standard merged with German engineers association standard, known as German standard (DIN). On December 22, 1917, general machinery manufacturing standards committee reorganization for the German industrial standards committee (NDI). The committee has given its standardization activities
